About this hub
What this hub is
Game-based learning has decades of research behind it and a growing place in classrooms, universities and training programs. What it lacks is a professional community for the people who actually run the games: the teachers and learning designers who turn a game into a lesson that sticks.
This hub is being formed to close that gap. It connects educational-game practitioners across school systems, higher education and workplace learning, so that methods, evidence and materials stop being reinvented in isolation.
The practice
What members will do
- Exchange lesson-ready game formats and adaptation techniques
- Discuss what the research says — and what the classroom says back
- Share assessment approaches for game-based learning
- Build bridges between K-12, higher-ed and workplace learning practice
- Help shape certification for educational game facilitators
